The Youth Sports Baseball and Softball Season is open to athletes ages 3-15, offering opportunities to build technical skills, enhance social development, and promote an active lifestyle. Teams practice twice a week for one hour from August 26 - October 19. Teams will practice at one of the following locations: Atago Sports Complex Softball Fields, Atago Hills, and Monzen Field. 

Information

• Open to all SOFA personnel ages 3-15
• There is a possibility that some teams share one field for practice.
• Age groups and time may change depending on how many athletes sign up.
• Please fill out all information correctly and according to the correct age groups, as Youth Sports will not be able to move children from 1 group to another with inaccurate information. 
• If tickets are sold out, contact Youth Sports at ombiwakuni.youthsports@usmc-mccs.org to be put on the waitlist.

Evaluation Information

Evaluation will be the first day of practice. Monday & Wednesday teams have their evaluation on Monday, August 26, and Tuesday & Thursday teams have their evaluation on Tuesday, August 27.

• Day/Time: Monday, August 26 at 6 PM or Tuesday, August 27 at 6 PM.
• Check-in: 5:30 PM | See the check-in table before evaluations start.

Volunteer Coaches

If you are interested in coaching, Youth Sports is looking for Baseball/Softball coaches. Please email ombiwakuni.youthsports@usmc-mccs.org to get a volunteer application. Youth Sports will provide a LOA after the season.
