Semper Fi 2.50 | Honoring 250 years of excellence

Race Info:

Units will form teams of 5-10 Marines/Sailors to run a 2.50-mile race. The top five finishers from each team will score points based on their individual finishes (think cross country race). First place receives one point, second place receives two points, and so on. The team with the lowest score wins.

Unit funds prize money will be available for the top three teams ($500, $350, $200), and the first-place team will receive a turnover chain. Additionally, the first 100 people to cross the finish line will receive a commemorative shirt.

There will be a non-traditional, but very Marine Corps-esqe start. After the race is complete, teams will have the opportunity to win $250 by completing 250 sit-ups, which will be led by Semper Fit staff.

Maximum of 20 teams. First come, first served. Can your unit register four teams? Yes. Don’t wait until the last minute to register.

Get your team of 5-10. Come up with a good team name. Sign up at the link below. The names of at least five team members must be submitted with registration, but the names can be changed up until the morning of the race. Team captains must confirm all team members by 0700 on 26 September.
