MCCS's Family Fun Day: Jungle Jam

April 13 from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Celebrate the Month of the Military Child at MCCS's Family Fun Day event, presented by the San Diego Zoo and sponsored by SD Legion, Jersey Mike's, Liberty Military Housing, and SeaWorld. We have a fantastic array of attractions, delicious food, and exciting giveaways, all designed to create unforgettable memories for military families and their children. Jungle Jam will have picture booths, a magician, bubble artist, merry-go-round, trackless train and an interactive booth with SD Legion. Visit MCCS's post for more details.

Mini Marine Bootcamp
April 4
Miramar Youth Sports Complex 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

This event provides an immersive experience for children ages 5-17, showcasing what it takes to become a United States Marine. Participants will undertake a mini-Combat Fitness Test, navigate an obstacle course, learn MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program), and qualify on the NERF range. Guided by Marine volunteers, participants will journey through seven stations, ultimately earning the title of Mini Marine. This exciting event has prize giveaways which include SD Legion home game tickets.
