We will drive to Harkers Island where we will be met with a ferry out to Cape Lookout. Enjoy a few hours fishing, exploring the area, swimming, playing beach games, and even consider renting an off road vechicle for the 2.5 hours we are at the beach. Then we will catch the ferry back to Harkers Island for a free lunch, amazing giveaways, and more. Don't miss out on this epic day in the sun.

This event is open to all active duty personnel.

• 7 am: Bus riders meet at Public House
• 8-8:30 am: Greet guests at Cape Lookout visitor's center/ferry landing OR Core sound museum with coffee and donuts
• 8:15-9 am: Guests self-tour museum (short walk from visitor's center)
• 9:15 am: Guests Ferry to Cape
• 11:45 am: Return on Ferry and drive to The Bridge Downeast
• 12:30 pm: Lunch > Welcome to Down East presentation > Giveaways 
• 1:30 pm: Event ends
• 2:30 pm Bus back at Public house

IF YOU ARE DRIVING YOURSELF

If you're driving a personal vehicle, please park in the lot at Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center, 1785 Island Road, Harkers Island. We will enjoy coffee and donuts, then a self-guided tour of the museum. The ferry will leave at 9:15 am from the Visitors Center, which is just a 5-minute walk from the museum.
